Official Fight Obesity WELLNESS - The Ultimate Goal Green Wristband Bracelet
 This is the official Fight Obesity rubber bracelet produced by the Mercy Foundation. Our belief is that obesity needs to be viewed as a community disease with a public health treatment approach to change the current trend. The Foundation offers scholarships to individuals to attend lifestyle modification classes at participating weight loss centers. The Foundation started in 2003 by Mercy Obeime, M.D., a family physician at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. The vision of the Foundation is to be the catalyst that instills in all of us the need to celebrate life as a precious gift, to prevent premature deaths in vulnerable populations and to restore hope in those who have lost hope from the burdens of society, disease or illness. The Foundation works to provide health care services and education to people in need. The focus is on obesity and wellness; and in Nigeria the focus is on preventable diseases, especially HIV/AIDS.
